December 2009: Song of the Stars Nominated for Grammy

The Naxos CD Song of the Stars, 8.570533, with the World Premiere recording of the long-lost masterpiece by Enrique Granados, Cant de les estrelles with Dennis Keene conducting the Voices of Ascension, Mark Kruczek and Douglas Riva as piano soloist has been nominated for a Grammy Award. In 2008 ILAMS hosted the UK premiere of this work at the Queen Elizabeth Hall with Douglas Riva and the Coro Cervantes.  The following is from the official nomination list at grammy.com:
