Who Can Join ILAMS?

Anyone with an interest in Iberian and Latin American classical music can become a member of ILAMS and support us in our endeavour to fulfil our aims, and ILAMS members are central to our activities.  We are a very friendly society, so whether you are new to Luso-Hispanic music or whether you are a Latin specialist, we look forward to welcoming you to our community.

ILAMS membership carries many benefits, including:
  • A free annual newsletter (with news, articles, interviews and reviews)
  • Access to exclusive member events
  • Discounts on tickets to all our concerts
  • Exclusive reservations for some of our free events
  • Discounts to external events.  In 2010 ILAMS members made potential savings of over  £100 on events at major London venues including Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, St James's Piccadilly, St John's Smith Square and the Barbican, featuring world-class artists and ensembles such as Rolando Villazón, the Katona Twins, Manuel Barrueco, Patricia Rozario, Craig Ogden, the Academy of Ancient Music, the Teresa Carreno Youth Orchestra of Venezuela and the LSO

Membership Fees 

  • Adult: £20
  • Couple*: £30
  • Adult + guest: £30
  • Full-time students (evidence of status required): £10
  • Members living outside the UK and Ireland: £25 (couple*: £35)
  • Corporate Membership: £100
  • Discount for 3 years’ advance membership: £50 (individuals), £65 (couples* and adults + guest)
  • Subscription for life: £200 (individuals), £250 (couples* and adults + guest)

* 'Couples' are defined as married couples or partners who live together at the same address.
