Established in 1995, the LCGF is the UK’s No. 1 classical guitar festival. Organised by ILAMS (the Iberian and Latin American Music Society) in collaboration with the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, we celebrate the Latin roots of our favourite musical
instrument with a feast of music from Spain, Portugal and Latin America performed by leading artists from around the world. The Festival's natural home, the Bolívar Hall, provides an acoustic unrivalled in the UK for classical guitar, and a vibrant atmosphere in which to enjoy this
colourful repertoire.The guitar is at the heart of Latin classical music culture, so for anyone wishing to become better-acquainted with Iberican classical music the LCGF is a 'must'.
